The safety bar next to the crosswalk was completely bent and fell down.
This morning, a report was received that a male elementary school student was hit by a bus here.
Crossing the road from the apartment side to the park side, she collided with a bus, and the 119 rescue team was immediately dispatched, but she died in the end.
The accident occurred on this crosswalk.
It was only 3 to 4 meters from the start of the children’s protection area and school zone.
As a result of bus black box and CCTV analysis, it was investigated that the bus driver did not drink alcohol or violate traffic lights.
The bus driver is known to have told the police that he found the child running towards the bus late and stepped on the brake, but the car slipped on the snow and might not be avoided.
The police said that as the accident occurred outside the child protection area, it was not subject to aggravated punishment, and that they were investigating whether the driver and pedestrian were at fault.
