Kiev is preparing for new attacks

The Ukrainian capital Kiev survives the next night of war and prepares for new air raids. According to the Ukrainian army on the ground, it was able to prevent Russian troops from invading the capital, but there are still fights with Russian “sabotage groups” who have infiltrated Kiev. For this reason, a full curfew has been put in place.

Civilians who are still on the streets are “regarded as members of enemy sabotage groups”. The population was recently warned by the authorities of street fights. Metro traffic in Kiev has been completely shut down, and the metro stations now serve as shelters for residents. Numerous people have been seeking refuge from Russian rocket attacks there for days.

Moscow: Offensive is expanded

In the meantime, the conflict is also being carried out using different representations: the Ukrainian leadership has rejected allegations from Moscow that Ukraine has canceled peace negotiations with Russia. Kiev accuses the Russian government of “lying”. Meanwhile, given the alleged Ukrainian blockade, Moscow has announced an expansion of the offensive.

The armed forces have been ordered to “expand the offensive in all directions,” the Defense Ministry said in Moscow. The order was justified by the fact that Ukraine had rejected negotiations. The government in Kiev denied the representation. “Their comments that we called off negotiations are just part of their tactics,” said Ukrainian presidential adviser Mikhail Podolak. “They seem to want to deadlock the negotiations before they even start.”
