Kidney failure: how to prevent and manage it

Kidney disease, kidney failure results from an inability of the kidneys to properly filter metabolic waste from the blood, leading to the destruction of the kidneys. In regarding 50% of cases, kidney failure is caused by the patient’s diabetes or high blood pressure. In the terminal stage, treatment is limited to dialysis or kidney transplantation.
