In a shocking incident, a Miss Egypt contestant was kidnapped and raped by a company owner, while the authorities arrested him and referred him to the Criminal Court.
The incident dates back to last February, when a flight attendant and a candidate for the Miss Egypt title was kidnapped and raped by her fiancé’s friend after he lured her to an apartment for allegedly helping her end her differences with her fiancé, and there he assaulted her by force and raped her.
In the investigations, it was found that the accused met a 26-year-old beauty queen called “NA” during one of the art festivals, and she was accompanied by her fiancé, who works in the media field, and they got acquainted, and after a while, and by virtue of their friendship, he contacted her by phone and informed her that her fiancé had him in his apartment in the area The first assembly is east of Cairo, and he is waiting for it to mediate and resolve the differences that had erupted between them.
The girl stated in the investigations that after arriving at the apartment and entering it, she did not find her fiancé, and she felt doubts about the intentions of the accused, so she tried to escape, but he closed the door and detained her, took off her clothes and raped her by force, which caused her severe bleeding.
She added that after the accused finished his crime, she locked herself in the bathroom in the apartment, then contacted her friends and informed them of what happened, noting that they arrived immediately and were able to get her out and inform the police who arrested the accused.
The investigation authorities decided to refer the accused to the Criminal Court on charges of kidnapping and raping a female under duress.
