There will be 21 players who will participate in the world competition that will be held in the Dominican Republic and will run from October 16 to November 3. The coaching staff, headed by Carlos Paniagua, will travel with their group of players to Santo Domingo next Saturday, October 12. One of the most outstanding players is the goalkeeper Luisa Agudelo, who has just made a presence in the Under 20 Women’s World Cup, where the tricolor finished its participation in the quarterfinals.

The tricolor team was runner-up in the category’s last World Cup participation
In the World Cup held in India in 2022, the Colombian players achieved runners-up status after losing in the final match against Spain. That final became the first time that a Colombian team played in a World Cup final held by FIFA.
Carlos Paniagua was already in charge of the national team and therefore, his expectations are focused on improving what was done two years ago and bringing the first title for the country in an orbital event.
The coffee makers will face the United States, Spain and the Republic of Korea. The first duel will be against the Asian country on October 16, then they will face the United States and, finally, Spain, which defeated them in the last final. The game system will have: group stage, quarterfinals, semifinal, third place and final.
