Cédric Do, our European kickboxing champion is back in New Caledonia. A boxer but also a trainer, he showed his two belts to his students on Thursday evening. He won the most recent, the European belt in the under 75 kilos, on April 1. What arouse the admiration of the students and make them want to go further.

It’s a well-deserved rest. Having recently become European kickboxing champion, Cédric Do has returned to the Caillou. Thursday evening at the Ouémo boxing gym in Magenta, he presented to the young people that he is training his two belts. Including the European belt in the under 75 kilos won on the 1is April in France.
A privileged moment of sharing which did not leave Scott, Louna, Sébastien and Sacha, the champion’s students, indifferent. “He is a European champion. I would like to follow his path”. entrusts one of them. “It shocked me especially when he knocked out [son adversaire]”, recognize another. “What it means to me is a lot of things that I can’t describe. I am proud of my coach. Especially because he has a European belt”, admits a student. “A European champion on a small island is incredible”, rejoices another.
“I already had my first French championship belt but now I’m back from a fight. It’s all fresh”, comments Cédric Do. For him, cThis meeting is an opportunity to give “some people want to continue in competition and maybe get to that one day. It gives them dreams and something accessible too. The goal for future generations and for those who would like to compete is to be able to bring belts back to Caledonia”.
The champion displays his ambitions. “For me, I still have a lot of things to prove and do in the foot-fist. You have to appreciate [cette victoire] but that’s only one step. The next short-term deadline will be during a big organization in Morocco on June 15th. This European championship with the federation, it opened the door to a world chance within a year maximum.
