When Kick first launched about seven months ago, many were wary of the platform because its main investors were crypto casinos. There may be more now, as they have announced some of their recent changes, and it was widely assumed that they would ask Twitch to make them, but Amazon’s platform never did. As Insider Gaming reports, Eddie Craven, CEO of Kick, the gaming platform behind the streaming site, and co-founder of Stake.com, has been very transparent about Kick’s development in general. Last week, he spoke about combating “view manipulation” and bots on the platform, hours after he reported that action had been taken. In the thread you can read that there will be an option to disable gambling and hot tub channels and other content not recommended for minors to make the platform more accessible to all ages. They appear to be on track to achieve something, as the official account reports that there are currently over 10 million active accounts on the platform.
