From today on the ball is rolling once more for the state league clubs from the Mühlviertel. In addition to Rohrbach-Berg, Putzleinsdorf and Schwertberg, two teams, Katsdorf and Naarn, are back in the Landesliga Ost following relegation. At the start, Putzleinsdorf and Schwertberg are two teams from the Mühlviertel that meet today. “It would be extremely important to start with a win,” says Putzleinsdorf’s coach Adis Mujkanovic. After the successful relegation in the first year, the Putzleinsdorfer want to have nothing to do with relegation if possible. Opponents Schwertberg aim for a single-digit place in the table in the fall. “We want to take points from the start,” says Schwertberg’s coach Wolfgang Gruber. Rohrbach-Berg has Traun as a guest today. Coach Christian Eisschiel does not want to commit to an autumn placement, but the requirement for the opening match is clear: “We absolutely want to write fully.”
After just one season in the district league, Katsdorf and Naarn are back. “We want to collect as many points as possible in the first half of the season, show attractive football and annoy the big players,” says Naarn coach Michael Windischhofer. Today the climber is a guest at SC Marchtrenk. “It will be a difficult task,” says Windischhofer. The SPG Katsdorf is free of play in the first round, coach Richard Grammer is very satisfied with the preparation: “I have a lot of young players, everyone is fully involved, I’m thrilled with the attitude.”
When asked regarding the championship contenders, the coaches agreed: Donau Linz and Oedt 1b are the big favourites.
In the Upper Austrian league, there is also a derby in Bad Leonfelden once morest Union Perg. St. Martin ( once morest St. Valentin) and SPG Pregarten ( once morest SPG FC Wels / WSC Hertha 1b) tomorrow.
