A Despite the drop in global demand for C-segment hatchbacks and sedans, Kia continues to bet on this segment and two years following the launch of the fourth generation Cerato in Argentina, the local representative presented the facelift that had been unveiled on last year in South Korea.
Sebastian Sicardi, General Manager of Kia Argentina, said: “The new Cerato is characterized by its attractive details inside and outside the vehicle, giving its users a unique driving experience. In each launch, Kia Argentina seeks to offer disruptive models to remain at the forefront, responding to the demands of our most loyal customers.”
These are its main features:
The new:
It is the facelift of the fourth generation of the Korean brand’s C-segment sedan, with design modifications, more technology and a reconfiguration of the versions, leaving aside the previous EX and SX GT-Line for the new SX and SX Plus.
On an aesthetic level, the introduction of the brand’s new logo stands out -located in the lower part of the bumper, almost on the hood-, the classic Tiger Nose grille with more marked lines and the new Led headlights, thinner and longer and with a luminous signature formed by three double straight lines. The bumper has also been completely redesigned, now it has a much larger and wider trapezoidal air intake along with two air ducts at the ends that emphasize the width of the vehicle.
In profile and at the rear, the changes are more subtle – new alloy wheels, new rear bumper with a simile diffuser and headlights, also Led that repeat the light signature of the front optics.
Inside doors, the steering wheel incorporated the new Kia logo, while the instruments received a new serigraphy and the screen of the multimedia system was updated. It also introduced some new equipment in terms of comfort and technology.
