Khris Middleton could miss the start of the season

Khris Middleton is unlikely to play orange ball much this summer. The Bucks winger has just had surgery on his left wrist and his return is expected for the start of the regular season.

Milwaukee has definitely not been helped by injuries for a few months… Between the physical glitches of Brook Lopez in the regular season and the absence of Khris Middleton during the Playoffs, the 2021 NBA champion has been struggling to have all his weapons available and defend his title. Under these conditions, the back-to-back seemed very unlikely. A year of bad luck does happen, and Milwaukee will always be among the favorites for the Larry O’Brien in 2023. Well… for that, you’d have to clear the black cat from the Fiserv Forum and hope to see everyone in top form and Uniformed. It starts rather badly with Khris Middleton who offered himself a small passage on the doctor’s table. According to Tim Bontemps ofESPN, the winger underwent surgery in early July to repair a torn ligament in his left wrist.

The news is obviously not great for Milwaukee, especially since it will delay the player’s preparation for next season. L’insider d’ESPN explains that Middleton should be fully recovered “towards the start of the regular season”. It might hardly be more vague as a date. We can therefore logically think that it is grated for training camp, or even preseason games. It is better to hope all the same that he can be in uniform for the start of hostilities. Attacking the season without the right arm of the Greek Freak, it’s still not the best to create a good group dynamic, especially since we do not replace 20 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists ( its averages in 2021-22) with the wave of a magic wand. We saw in the Playoffs that the absence of the cousin of British royalty (no) weighed heavily on the game and the strength of Mike Budenholzer’s team, on both sides of the field. Not exactly the player that fans want to see in civil on the recovery…

Khris Middleton took to the pool table to heal his left wrist and he might miss the start of the 2022-23 season. We know a Greek who will still have to be in the oven and at the mill.
