The Vice-President of the Free Patriotic Movement, May Khreish, tweeted on her Twitter account, saying: “The year 1990 was in Baabda, well… For a time, the crossed-out dagger of treachery stabbed her in the back… Rest assured… Baabda is a thousand good with the presence of the mountain in it… Reducing dependency on money and abroad… Possibly… You will have a chance to get out of the hell of hatred that lives in it…”
Khreish’s words came in response to the statement of “Lebanese Forces” party leader Samir Geagea during his announcement of the candidacy of MP Pierre Bou Assi for the Maronite seat in Baabda: “If Baabda is fine, Lebanon will be fine, and today because Baabda is not fine, all of Lebanon with its economy and security is not fine. Baabda, Lebanon’s decision of guardianship whenever Lebanon deteriorates, and this is what is happening today.”
In 1990, Baabda was fine…for a time, the crossed-out dagger of betrayal stabbed her in the back…
