Khabarovsk “Amur” and Omsk “Avangard” were fined by the sports and disciplinary committee of the Continental Hockey League (KHL).

Before the match in Khabarovsk, which took place on January 13 and ended with the victory of Avangard with a score of 3:1, a brawl took place between the hockey players.

— Impose monetary fines on both clubs in accordance with clause 5.1. Article 28 of the KHL disciplinary regulations (a hockey player or a team official is involved in a conflict situation or a fight during the pre-game warm-up or in the tribune area), says a message published on the KHL website.

The fine for clubs for violating this clause of the regulations ranges from 500 thousand to one million rubles.

The KHL also fined Artem Chmykhov and Mark Verba from Avangard, as well as Sergei Kolesnikov from Amur, for one match. Avangard defender Semyon Chistyakov from Avangard and Amur players Kirill Spitsenko and Evgeniy Grachev were only punished with a fine.
