Khalilur Rehman Qamar Honey Trap Case: Accused Amina Arooj ordered to undergo medical treatment – Pakistan

The Lahore High Court has issued an order for the medical examination of the accused Amina Urooj in the Khalilur Rahman Qamar honey trap case.

Khalilur Rehman Qamar honey trap case accused Amina Urooj was subjected to physical remand torture. On the request of Amina Urooj’s mother, Lahore High Court directed the MS Services Hospital to conduct a medical and submit a report tomorrow.

In the Lahore High Court, a hearing was held on the petition filed by the police against the alleged torture of Amina Arooj, accused of honey-trapping playwright Khalilur Rahman Qamar, during physical remand.

Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh heard the petition of Amina Urooj’s mother, Zeenat Bibi. It has been stated in the petition that Amina Urooj was subjected to severe physical and mental torture by the police during physical remand. Due to the violence, Amina Urooj is suffering from severe internal and external injuries.

According to the petition, Amina Urooj’s mother went to meet her at the jail and was told that Amina Urooj had been taken to the hospital, but the mother found out that Amina Urooj had actually been taken to an investigating officer of the Organized Crime Unit.

In the petition, it has been requested that an order be issued to Amina Urooj to be produced before the court and undergo medical treatment.

Justice Tariq Shaikh ordered to form a medical board for MS Services Hospital Amina Arooj. The court adjourned the hearing by ordering the medical presentation of Amina Urooj tomorrow in the court.
