Artist Khaled Al-Nabawi wrote, through his official Facebook account, a tribute to producer Nahid Farid Shawqi, who passed away yesterday morning, Tuesday, at the age of 73 years.
Al-Nabawi wrote: “Dear dear, you will miss us very much. I was creating your account while you were watching the movie and I was impatiently waiting for your opinion.. You were like I wish I might see him in any new product.. Love, passion, and insistence on making, watching, or discussing a nice movie.. May God have mercy on you.”
The artist Rania Farid Shawqi had announced the date and place of the funeral of her sister, the late producer Nahid Farid Shawqi, and Rania published on her Instagram account a post that read: “To God we belong and to Him we shall return. The funeral of the late Nahid Farid Shawqi will be held in Al-Wahab Hall, the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed.”
She continued: “On Thursday, December 7, following the Maghrib prayer, survival and permanence belong to God alone.”
