Khadimul Haramain Hajj Umrah Project: Prominent Islamic Figures and Scholars Perform Umrah in Jeddah

Jeddah: Under the Khadimul Haramain Hajj Umrah project under the supervision of the Saudi Islamic Ministry, 1000 Umrah pilgrims who will be the guests of King Salman have already arrived in Saudi Arabia. The 15th batch of 250 people, including women, landed at Madina’s Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport on Friday morning.

The final group was made up of prominent Islamic figures from East Asian countries such as Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos, Hong Kong, Japan, Brunei, Thailand, South Korea, Cambodia and Mongolia. After visiting Madinah’s Masjid Dunna Bawi, Masjid Quba and other historical and cultural sites, the group will head to Makkah to perform Umrah.

Under the Khadimul Hajj Umrah program, the country hosted 1,000 prominent Islamic personalities from around the world including influential figures, dignitaries, scholars, sheikhs, university and institute professors from the Muslim world to perform Umrah and visit Madinah Masjid Dunna Bawi and other historic sites.
