KFC says goodbye to its famous popcorn chicken

KFC is going for a slimming cure with its menu by eliminating 5 favorite items from its customers, including its famous popcorn chicken.

Chicken wings, Nashville hot sauce, strawberry lemonade and chocolate chip cookies are also permanently removed from its menu, according to USA Today.

Changes to the fast-food multinational’s menu will begin in November.

“We have reduced the options for customers, making it easier for them to decide what to order. We’re focusing on the menu items that we do best,” KFC’s U.S. manager Brittany Wilson told USA Today.

The new menus will be rolled out nationally in the United States, according to Fox Business.

“We are removing items from the menu, this will allow us to make room for exciting new additions to the menu in 2023,” says Brittany Wilson.

On February 6, KFC announced that it would add fried chicken wraps.
