Alouettes running back William Stanback is likely to be the key player on Saturday night in the game once morest the Tiger-Cats in Hamilton. This would also be a good time to bet on Stanback, he who was particularly effective last Sunday in the victory over the Calgary Stampeders. In my opinion, he had his best start of the year because of his consistency.
When we talk regarding Stanback’s efficiency, we quickly have to point out the work of the Alouettes’ offensive line. Criticized at the start of the season, this offensive line is now ruthless for the opponent. I also liked seeing the Quebecer Pier-Olivier Lestage confront the opponent following a hard tackle wiped by Cody Fajardo. It’s a sign of an offensive line that is fearless and plays with confidence.

Now I see Stanback as a key player once morest the Tiger-Cats as they, without Bo Levi Mitchell, will start the game with young quarterback Taylor Powell. In this vein, the Alouettes have a strong interest in dominating possession time. Against a young quarterback, you don’t want them to have time to get comfortable on the field. Powell might hesitate

If the Alouettes have a few injuries in the defensive unit, including Najee Murray, I refuse to worry too much. The Montreal club has great depth. I’m also looking forward to seeing if the Alouettes will once once more use a three-man front on the defensive line. The arrival of Shawn Lemon comes to allow that and it is the whole defensive unit which benefits from it in its cover.
It brings speed with several moving parts, which can favor interceptions.
Game rigged in sight
To conclude this column, I’ll give you a feeling: I wouldn’t be surprised if the Tiger-Cats played a game or two once morest the Alouettes. For what? The team evolves in front of its fans and we want to do everything so that they keep the hope of seeing the Ti-Cats participate in the next Gray Cup final, which will be held in Hamilton.
