The launch of the iQOO 11 and 11 Pro smartphones in India may be around the corner, according to a new report. For those unaware, the iQOO 11 series includes two smartphones. This includes the iQOO 11 Basic and the iQOO 11 Pro. It’s no secret that iQOO is regarding to reveal its next smartphones as part of the 11 series.
Now, there has been a lot of speculation regarding the upcoming smartphones lately. The iQOO 11 series has been floating around the rumor mill since the iQOO 10 arrived in China earlier this year. To summarize, iQOO launched iQOO 10 as iQOO 9T for the Indian market.
iQOO 11 series launched in India
The Vivo sub-brand is likely to launch the two flagship 11 series smartphones by the end of 2022. However, the exact launch date is still unknown. A previous report suggests that the 11 Pro will pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 chip. Now, Qualcomm is likely to announce its next generation chip in November or December.
Therefore, it is safe to assume that the iQOO 11 series can break the lid around the same time. Meanwhile, model numbers for the Chinese and Indian variants have appeared online. This tip comes from tipster Paras Guglani (via price papa). The report states that the India variant bears the iQOO I2209 model number. However, the Chinese variant of the same device will carry the iQOO V2243A model number.
Moreover, iQOO is said to be preparing to launch the 11 Pro model in India. The iQOO 11 Pro has the model number I2212. Similarly, the 11 Pro Chinese version comes with the model number V2254A. Both devices are likely to get the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Also, the 11 Pro can support 200W fast charging. The flagship phones will likely have Samsung E6 AMOLED screens.
Furthermore, the 11 Pro is likely to feature a 2K display and a 144Hz refresh rate. As for optics, both devices can have a 50MP Sony IMX8-series sensor. Unfortunately, details regarding the rest of the camera’s specifications are still scarce.
