Haas F1 Team Kevin Magnussen finished fifth in the 2022 opening round F1 Bahrain Grand Prix final.
Kevin Magnussen, who had just been announced as a successor to Nikita Mazepin last Wednesday, took the seventh grid in qualifying on Saturday. Even in the final, he showed a competitive run and developed a high-ranking battle. With the help of Red Bull’s second-place retirement at the end of the race, he finished fifth in the Best of the Rest, behind two Ferraris and two Mercedes.
“The enthusiasm continues,” commented Kevin Magnussen.
