Kevin Fiala on his way to LA

Kevin Fiala leaves Minnesota to take the road to Los Angeles, where he would have committed for seven years and approximately eight million dollars per season.

The rights of the St. Gallen striker were acquired in exchange for the 19th choice of the next draft and a young defender from the Kings.

No. 11 in the 2014 draft, Kevin Fiala had a remarkable 2021/22 regular season, setting his personal best with 85 points in 82 games. But the 2018 vice-world champion was more discreet in the play-off, settling for 3 points in a first round lost in six games by Minnesota once morest the St. Louis Blues.

Some rumors had sent Kevin Fiala (25) to the side of the New Jersey Devils, where he would have found Nico Hischier and Jonas Siegenthaler. The St-Gallois will therefore ultimately stay in the West to discover a third club there following Nashville (2014-2019) and Minnesota. He signed for a single season last summer with the Wild, with a salary of 5.1 million.
