It’s funny, we have the impression of having already written this paper yesterday… After having vigorously defended his legacy with great blows of tweets, Kevin Durant got confused once more on the social network of the blue bird and this time, his victim is called Marc Stein. Well, it must be said that the insider relayed some rumors that did not really please the Nets superstar. The winger obviously did not hesitate to let it be known. On the menu, retreat and training camp, we explain everything to you.
In the game insiders in the NBA, Marc Stein is quite a size. Followed by more than 1.4 million followers on Twitter, this gentleman is very serious, and regularly has information coming directly from the backstage of the Great League. Last night, he said a source within the NBA told him that Durantula might consider retiring to avoid returning to Brooklyn Always ready to draw his best punches with interposed tweets, KD did not pray to answer Marc Stein.
The reason ? In a long paragraph given to the current situation of the Slim Reaper at the Nets, the insider dropped some very crisp information. Primothe Nets superstar would definitely do anything not to return to Brooklyn. Yes, the winger would definitely consider retiring rather than ever set foot in Bed-Stuy. Et secondly, Durant would consider skipping the Nets training camp. Well yeah, just that. Go ahead, take a deep breath and dry your tears – whether of sadness or joy – we will surely see Durantula on the court once more next season. Indeed, in terms of a potential retirement, Stein himself tempered his remarks by explaining that associating KD and retirement would simply exaggerate the situation. Too late, the damage is done, Twitter gets carried away and the Slim Reaper pulls out the sulfateuse to respond courteously and delicately to the insider.
I know most people will believe unnamed sources over me but if it’s anyone out there that’ll listen, I don’t plan on retiring anytime soon. Shit is comical at this point.

Did we say politely? Sorry, typo. Obviously KD did not take gloves to answer Stein, undoubtedly tired by the rumors regarding him. At the same time, he doesn’t act especially in a way to be quiet, let’s face it. As you will have understood, the Slim Reaper does not plan to retire, at least not for the moment. On the other hand, the winger did not express his intentions in view of the training camp. While Stein claims that the great Kevin should zap the next meeting of the Nets, the latter did not deny the information, without confirming it.
Radio silence on the subject therefore, but it is not impossible to see KD voluntarily missing the training camp, just over a month from the start of it. Still, the situation of the 2014 MVP in the Big Apple seems to be at a standstill for the moment. While the Nets visibly refuse all the proposals offered to them, Durant seems to be determined to leave Brooklyn (unless they fire Steve Nash, Sean Marks and Nic Claxton’s uncle). The standoff between the two parties should still continue for a while, in the meantime… it is clear that KD seems determined to correct anyone who throws false rumors regarding him.
Enclosed are the first three paragraphs regarding what I actually wrote regarding KD … and why not a singe tweet from me promoted the retirement idea. Told the exec who told me it might not be believed. Used it as an anecdote to get into the latest on the Nets: https://t.co/qMnPMjUMov https://t.co/UD0ek33pqE pic.twitter.com/2P79feVyZr

As quick to draw on the networks as behind the arc, Kevin Durant is currently still a Nets player. Fortunately, no retirement in sight for the Slim Reaper, which should continue to delight us for a few more years. It now remains to be seen in which jersey it will be.
