Injured at the start of the season, then affected by the Covid-19 at the end of November, Kevin De Bruyne took advantage of the month of December to definitively launch his season. Author of three goals and one assist in the league, the Red Devil helped Manchester City to break at the top of the Premier League and he took the opportunity to interfere in the race for the awards in December.

KDB’s stunning achievement is indeed nominated for the Premier League’s December Goal of the Month trophy, alongside a few other stunning goals from Bernardo Silva, Trent Alexander Arnold, Lucas Moura and Mason Mount, among others.

The “goal of the month” has been awarded for just over five years in the Premier League and Kevin De Bruyne has already won this award twice. Like Eden Hazard, who is the only other Belgian on the list. If Kevin De Bruyne were elected for the month of December, he would join Andros Townsend, the only player to have won this honorary title three times.
