Kevin Danso: Two top clubs have the ÖFB defender on their notepad

Kevin Danso delivered convincing performances in the two national team appearances in Linz. The 24-year-old also demonstrates his skills so regularly with the French first division club Lens that his club coach Franck Haise recently described him as one of the best central defenders in Europe.

Danso has long piqued the interest of several top European clubs. As the French portal “Jeunesfooteux” claims to have learned, Inter Milan has put out feelers for the native of Styria. Milan Skriniar is regarding to leave the “Narazzurri”, which is why a replacement is being sought. Accordingly, Salzburg’s Oumar Solet should be at the top of the Italians’ wish list. Danso is an alternative for the third in the table.

Most recently, the Austrian team defender had also been linked to Newcastle United. Money has only played a subordinate role at the English first division club since Saudi investors got involved.

Danso’s contract with Lens runs until the summer of 2026.
