Ketanji Brown Jackson’s confirmation for the US Supreme Court is considered likely. Even her critics attest to the extraordinary talent of the 51-year-old judge.

Washington – For the first time in the United States, a black woman could become a judge on the Supreme Court. US President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, if confirmed by the Senate, would become the first African American woman in the Supreme Court’s 233-year history, the third Black person and the sixth woman to serve on the Supreme Court. Above all, however, the 51-year-old judge at the Federal Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia is highly qualified for her designated task.
