Participants and spectators experienced a running festival on Saturday at the 36th edition of the Pesenbachtallauf. The strong winning times also contributed to the impeccable record: with a remarkable time of 45:44 minutes, Kerstin Springer from Union Rohrbach-Berg crossed the finish line as the winner of the women’s classification. Iris Hermann (TriRun Linz; 51:13) and Laetita Pibis (Linz; 51:43) ended up in second place. The fastest of the 140 men who started in the main run on the eleven-kilometer cross-country course was Martin Enzenberger (TGW Decathlon Union) in 39:04 minutes. Florian Böhm (Union Rohrbach Berg; 41:26) came second. Florian Gruber (Union Rohrbach Berg; 42:27) achieved third place.
In the morning, 259 children between the ages of 3 and 16 took part in the Wirt in Pesenbach children’s run. They had to overcome between 50 and 1350 meters. At the award ceremony, every child was happy to receive a well-filled finisher bag.
51 Feldkirchners gave their best at the community championship. Simone Wögerbauer was on the winner’s podium – she won the women’s category ahead of Claudia Stirmayr and Marlies Riepl, as well as Daniel Hartl, who won the men’s category ahead of Christoph Gruber and Elias Zauner. The certificate for the fastest fire department went to the FF Feldkirchen/Donau 1.
