Bae Seong-woong: It is fortunate that we won 2-0 against Breon. I feel I need to prepare well for the rest of the game.
Ryu Min-seok: Brion is a team that communicates well with the jungle and bottom, so I paid a lot of attention in the first half. I am happy that the results turned out well.
In the second set, Brion chose ‘Sona’. Was it something you expected?
Minseok Ryu: I didn’t expect it. But I was aware of it because the analyst had talked about it before. It seemed that the opponent would continue aiming for a bottom dive. He had to play with caution, but thought it worked out, so he tried to overlead before the line. I’m sorry that I made a mistake in this process.
Changed patch, how are you preparing?
Seongwoong Bae: There were changes in the patch, and I felt the need to do a composition that I hadn’t done before. The last set was prepared differently than usual.
Minseok Ryu: With Yumi getting nerfed, there is no reason to ban her on the red side. I practiced a lot of compositions without bot 1 champions.
It is the 3rd anniversary of Ryu Min-seok’s debut. how do you feel
Ryu Min-seok: It’s been 3 years since we debuted. The fans cheer me on and give me a lot of interest, so I feel I have to work hard. I have a strong desire to grow, whether as a player or as a person, so that I can live up to my interest.

Ryu Min-seok: What I think of now is when we confirmed our advance to Worlds at DRX in 2020. Sharing joy with Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu remains in my memory.
What kind of player is Ryu Min-seok to coach Bae Seong-woong?
Seongwoong Bae: 3 years is long if it is long and short if it is short. He is a player who can continue to do well in the future. As he develops his potential, he thinks he wants to become a good player.
Many officials mention T1 as the favorite to win. I’m curious about your thoughts on this
Seongwoong Bae: What I feel while watching the tournament is that any team can win. There is room for everyone to do well. I don’t think T1 is unconditionally number one. I feel that there are many strong teams, so I am focusing on showing good performances.
Ryu Min-seok: Looking at the matches so far, I don’t have a strong feeling that we are close to winning or that we can go to the finals. I think it will be possible if we improve our performance while playing the remaining matches. I think everyone is doing well, but watching the game, I felt that Hanwha Life Insurance was doing well. I think I brought some of the details as mine.
What is the key mechanism of T1 operation that Ryu thinks?
Ryu Min-seok: I think T1’s strength is to pick high-value picks from the upper body. High-value picks have weak moments in the early to mid-game, but they get stronger when you overcome them. I think it’s better for the bottom to buy that time and give the second half to the mid and top. It seems that they continue to appoint (a champion with a strong laning) because they produced good results in matches.
