Kalpa:Minnumani to sign Kerala’s first Women’s Premier League Twenty20 Cricket. Sunday is the first match of the Delhi Capitals, which includes the Kerala star. The match will be played once morest Royal Challengers Bangalore at 3.30 pm in Mumbai.
Minnumani, who hails from Wayanad, is also the only Malayali to be selected for the Women’s Premier League. Mananthavadi Choimula Edapetty is the daughter of Mavumkandi Mani and Vasantha couple. Minnu performed well in the Inzone women’s cricket match held in Hyderabad recently. It was during this match that Minnu was acquired by Delhi for Rs 30 lakh. Minnu has played for the Indian Women’s A team and India Blue Under-23 in the Challengers Trophy tournament. He also played in the Emerging Asia Cup held in Sri Lanka.
“I got good training from the training camp of Delhi Capitals. It has confidence. Being in the Premier League is a big responsibility. I will try to play well in every match” – said Minnumani.
Minnumani’s mother Vasantha said that she is proud that her daughter is playing in the Women’s Premier League and is looking forward to watching the match.
