London: Boris Johnson may continue as British Prime Minister. This is following the Conservative Party won the confidence vote. 211 MPs voted in favor of Boris. Only 148 MPs voted once morest.

It is learned that 54 MPs from the Conservative Party had submitted a letter of confidence vote once morest Johnson. 25 MPs had responded publicly. Boris Johnson, who admitted to attending the party, apologized in Parliament but refused to resign.

The vote of confidence was held at the request of 15 per cent of party MPs as per the organizational rules. With a majority in the polls, Johnson might continue as prime minister. Another no-confidence vote will not take place until 12 months later.
