“Kenny Omega Discusses CM Punk Incident on The Sessions Podcast: Exclusive Details Revealed”

2023-03-02 08:00:00

Kenny Omega opened up about the incident between CM Punk and The Elite during an appearance on The Sessions.

Punk’s future in wrestling remains uncertain following his backstage fight with Omega and The Young Bucks following AEW’s All Out pay-per-view. He was stripped of the world title and suspended, although it was reported that he was in talks with AEW about a contract buyout at some point. Omega and The Bucks have since returned to AEW TV.

Omega noted that the public will never know what happened, but is glad no one was seriously injured.

“It’s a shame that the general public never knows what happened and how it could have been avoided, how it could have ended differently. This is how things are done in a large company. I don’t think anyone is happy or proud that it happened or anything like that. I think overall everyone thinks it was a terrible situation that was unnecessary. »

“Yeah, I really do (I feel the mood has cleared up). There was a time when and I can understand the confusion it’s kind of like hey we know this thing happened we heard this thing happened it’s all over the leaves of the earth , why don’t we know what happened? and we left and we kind of swore to secrecy, we can’t say anything legally. So that was the poo part where it was like ‘well, why isn’t anyone telling us what’s going on’ and then you have to make up your own mind. »

“What is important is that no one was seriously injured and I am very grateful for that. We’ve moved on, I’m fine, it doesn’t dictate what I do what I say, I’m sure the Bucks are in the same boat. I can’t speak to the other parties, I hope they are well and I mean it. »
