“Ken Matsudaira Matsuken Samba Concert 2025” will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Kanamoto Hall (Sapporo Civic Hall).

Ken Matsudaira’s “Matsuken Samba Concert” has become so popular that there is no day when you don’t see it in commercials, TV, on stage, in magazines, on SNS, etc.!

Ken Matsudaira’s special stage, whose 2004 release “Matsuken Samba II” has become a hit again after 20 years, has gained support from a wide range of people, young and old.

Ken Matsudaira

Born November 28, 1953 in Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture

He played the lead role in the TV historical drama series “Abarenbo Shogun” for about 25 years (832 episodes in total).

They have also staged performances in a variety of genres, from period dramas to musicals, such as “Yojimbo” and “The King and I,” and “Matsuken Samba II” in 2004 was a national hit.

Currently, the “Matsuken” boom has arrived again, mainly in commercials and social media, and it continues to attract attention across generations.
