Keegan Murray Dominates the Miami Heat in the NBA Summer League

We thought we would see a good fight between young wolves in search of a contract or legitimacy in the NBA, we especially saw an experienced player flicking kids all evening. This is the summary of the performance of Keegan Murray and the Kings once morest the Miami Heat tonight. It was not pretty to see, but we saw it so we tell you.

Who said that the Summer League was used to earn your place in the NBA? In any case not Keegan Murray who is mainly there to remind everyone else that they have nothing to do here. Or maybe the reverse. In short, no matter we don’t really understand why Keegan plays but he does and he beats the crap out of him. 41 points with a nice 6/11 from long range, bad weather for the Miami Chaleur. In total fire, Keeg ‘did not even bother to ask his support before shooting. Pay your respect.

And then if that wasn’t enough to run over them on offense, Murray spent his time saying no with his hand when the Floridians wanted to score in turn. 4 counters and a big impression of seeing a much too competitive daron play a pick-up game with his 4 and 8 year old children. Unsurprisingly this gives a quiet 93-85 victory for the Kings who leave their home competition undefeated, before joining Vegas tomorrow… without the Keegs.

For the rest, we haven’t seen much except 22 and 17 points from Nikola Jovic and the athletic Jamal Cain on the Heat side, far too alone to compete with the evening croqueur. Because yes, no matter how effective, a holder in the 3rd in the West who comes to the Summer League to steal all the balls, he’s a cruncher.

The Summer League being what it is, we also had a blast discovering the little names hidden within the rosters of the night. Special mention for Souley Boum, 1 interception and 1 missed shot, no big deal, you weren’t expected there.

The Kings signed a player named Boom. That’s also the beauty of the Summer League

The Summer League in Sacramento is over, just like Keegan Murray’s Summer League, and that’s good news. We promise kids, the big purple guy at number 13 won’t bother you in Las Vegas.
