KEDIP-Patras Carnival at the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair
For the second consecutive year, the historic Patrinos Carnival will make its mark at Greece’s premier event, the International Exhibition of Thessaloniki, showcasing the spirit of extroversion both nationally and internationally.
KEDIP-Patras Carnival will proudly participate in the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) from Saturday, September 7th to Sunday, September 15th, representing the Western Greece Region.
This event serves as a unique platform to promote the Patrinos Carnival, an essential highlight of our region’s cultural heritage. KEDIP will represent the city of Patras in a dedicated 104 square meter space located in Pavilion 6, stand 4.
This year, the artists of the Carnival Workshop will take center stage, displaying their creative talents through the remarkable production of the 2024 Carnival King’s chariot.
In the stand, a prominent feature will be a digital print on a wall showcasing the figure of the auctioneer. This artwork, conceptualized by Maria Alaniadis, was visually brought to life by Alexis Sakellaropoulos and Eleni Dakou.
The cheerleader figure is surrounded by a collage of joyful Carnival moments, sourced from the KEDIP archives and captured by photographer Vassilis Papaioannou. KEDIP extends heartfelt thanks to all contributors for their invaluable input.
Additionally, the costume of the Queen of the Patrinos Carnival 2024, a unique creation by designer Paris Laliotis, will also be featured at the stand.
