KBMKB Program in Klaten Accelerates Development of Underdeveloped Regions

The Klaten Regency Government, Central Java, together with the Klaten 0723 Military District Command held the Klaten Bersinar Independent Community Service (KBMKB) XXIV/2024 program in Geneng Village, Prambanan District.

The opening ceremony of the 24th KBMKB activity was held in the yard of the Geneng Village Sports Hall (GOR), Wednesday (28/8), and was led by the Commander of the 0723 Klaten Kodim, Lieutenant Colonel (Czi) Bambang Setya Triwibowo.

The opening of KBMKB in Geneng Village was officially carried out by Regent Sri Mulyani, marked by the beating of the gong. The XXIV KBMKB activity was held for one month, August 28-September 26, 2024.

Commander of the 0723 Klaten Military District Command, Lieutenant Colonel (Czi) Bambang Setya Triwibowo, said that the target of the KBMKB physical activities in Geneng Village, Prambanan, was in the form of concreting a 250 M road and a 435 M road embankment.

“Physical development in Geneng Village, targets roads that are access for community agriculture, with the hope of supporting the economic growth of the community in this target area,” he explained.

According to Dandim 0723 Klaten, the targets of the non-physical activities of KBMKB XXIV in the village include national defense counseling and socialization of adminduk or population administration.

Meanwhile, Regent Sri Mulyani said that the development target through the KBMKB program is in an effort to eradicate poverty and improve the economy of the community in the target villages.

The KBMKB and TMMD programs in Klaten are implemented to help accelerate the development of underdeveloped or poor areas. Therefore, the KBMKB and TMMD activity programs are very much needed.

“We hope that KBMKB can be continued by the elected regent. Because, through this program, it can accelerate the development of infrastructure that is beneficial for the village community,” he said. (N-2).
