Falling 4.10% on Tuesday around 11 a.m., for an increase of 0.62% taking into account its coupon detachment, KBC (61.30) weighed on the BEL 20 index which was lagging behind its European neighbors with a decline of 1.4% to 3,753 points.
Sofina (201.20) led the declines, falling by 2.2% in real estate companies with declines of 1.9% in Aedifica (73.70) and Cofinimmo (84.70), WDP (26.18) similarly losing 1.8%.
Ageas (40.90) stood out rising 0.5% while AB InBev (58.14) dropped 1.1%, Solvay (107.00) and UCB (83.08) fell 1 and 0, 7%, arGEN-X (359.30) and Galapagos (37.65) 1.5 and 1.2%.
D’Ieteren (167.00) was negative by 1%, Aperam (33.84) and Umicore (29.32) by 0.1 and 0.4%.
Iep Invest (5.00) and VGP (91.00) also lost 2.9 and 2.5%, Xior (28.50) and Immobel (44.70) losing 1.5 and 1.7%.
Belysse (1.325) jumped 10.4%, Greenyard (6.75) gained another 2.3% while Agfa-Gevaert (2.59) and Ontex (7.975) dropped 3.2 and 2.2%, Jensen (30.60) dropping 3.8%.
Biosenic (0.1245) finally regained an additional 7.3% while Oxurion (0.0048) rose by 6.7%, Mithra (2.515) being negative by 4.5%.
The euro was at 1.0980 USD on Tuesday morning, once morest 1.1025 the day before around 4:30 p.m. The bullion was trading around 59,315 euros, up 280 euros.
