KB Kookmin Bank creates ‘Palace Forest’ in Yulgok-ro, Changgyeonggung Palace |

On the 6th, KB Kookmin Bank signed a business agreement with the Changgyeonggung Palace Management Office and Seoul Green Trust to create the ‘KB Green Wave (KB Green Wave) Palace Forest’ at Changgyeonggung Palace.

The agreement ceremony held at Changgyeonggung Palace on this day was attended by Moon Hye-sook, head of ESG headquarters at KB Kookmin Bank, Park Young-hwan, director of Changgyeonggung Palace Management Office, and Cho Gyeong-jin, director of Seoul Green Trust and related officials.

With this business agreement, the palace forest, which will be created around Yulgok-ro in Changgyeonggung Palace, is a place where the need for green space restoration has increased as Yulgok-ro, which used to cross Changgyeonggung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, has become underground. Accordingly, KB Kookmin Bank has established a plan to restore the palace forest in the Yulgok-ro area and promotes forest creation activities with customers until 2025.

In particular, this palace forest will be created with donations directly prepared through ESG practices by KB Kookmin Bank executives and employees.
