Before we get into the main topic… Typhoons have been occurring frequently since August. The Japan Meteorological Agency reports on the number of typhoons that have occurred since January 1st every year.typhoon(Maximum wind speed of about 17 m/s or more) are numbered in the order of occurrence, such as No. 1, No. 2, etc. If a tropical depression becomes a typhoon again, it is given the same number. In addition to this numbering, typhoons that occur in the Northwest Pacific Ocean or the South China Sea are numbered by the intergovernmental organizationTyphoon Committeewas recruited from member countries.140 Asian namesThe first typhoon of 2024 will be “Iwinya” (“God of Storms” in Micronesian). Since the average number of typhoons that occur per year is 25.1, the Asian names are cycled every 5 to 6 years. When a typhoon causes major damage, the Asian name may be changed so that it is not used for future typhoons.

Let’s get to the main topic. Kazuo Funaki will hold his first regular concert after the “summer vacation” on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 from 2pm at the Hachioji Civic Hall (nicknamed J:COM Hall Hachioji) in Koyasu-cho, Hachioji City, Tokyo. I’m also planning to rush to the venue, so I’ll be able to tell you all about the concert and talk as soon as I get back.

J:COM Hall Hachioji is located on the 4th to 8th floors of Southern Sky Tower Hachioji. It opened at its current location as a new hall on April 3, 2011. It can accommodate a maximum of 2021 people (1869 fixed seats, 8 parent-child seats, 144 standing seats), making it one of the largest halls in the Tama area. The stage is 18m wide and 20m deep.

Mizuki becomes assistant director at Daikyo Eiga

122 timesShooting has begun for a special period drama for Daiei Films starring Kotaro (Sasaki Kuranosuke). Then it’s New Year’s Eve, and if they don’t finish filming by that day, Kotaro won’t have a schedule and won’t be able to make it in time for broadcast, but suddenly the inn where they planned to film can’t be used, and Sugimoto (Sakai Masato) bows to Mizuki (Okamoto Aya) and asks if they can use Tsubakiya. Mizuki refuses at first, but she can’t refuse. The film crew doesn’t listen to orders to keep quiet, and Shinpachi (Nishina Takashi) gets involved as a choreographer…

123 timesAfter the new year, Takino (Otake Shinobu) returns to Tsubakiya. Her behavior is clearly different from before, such as talking about movies with Momiji (Mita Atsuko) while doing the dishes, and she also summons Yoko (Okada Kaoru), whom Mitsuki had forced out of her job. When Mitsuki says she is going to Daikyo Eiga to ask for a job, Yoko surprises Mitsuki by saying that if they say no, she will ask for one too. Mitsuki ends up working part-time at Daikyo Eiga and begins working as an assistant director on the children’s show “Future Detective Diner,” starring Jojima (Nagashima Kazushige).

*Episodes 122 and 123 will be replaced after watching the rebroadcast.
