Kazakhstan limits the export of wheat and flour

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeev signed an order on the introduction of quotas for the export of wheat and flour, the document was sent for state registration to the Ministry of Justice.

According to the document, until June 15, the export of these goods will be carried out strictly within the approved quota volumes. The quota for wheat and meslin is set at 1 million tons, the quota for wheat or wheat-rye flour is 300,000 tons.

According to the ministry’s statement, applicants who have sold 10% of the volume of the product declared for export to the Food Corporation at a fixed price are allowed to distribute the quota.
