Casablanca – SoGé, a 100% online bank, unveiled Thursday in Casablanca the winners of the Kayn L’Flow competition, designed with the aim of celebrating Moroccan youth.
Kayn L’Flow by SoGé offers young people the opportunity to express themselves freely and thus wishes to become a true actor of culture and creativity in Morocco, by associating itself with rap, an art form which has become the one of the most popular and powerful cultural expressions among young Moroccans.
This first edition of Kayn L’Flow comes with this in mind, following the success of Kayn L’Game, a gaming tournament organized by SoGé, and the Casa Latina event.
It is a rap competition which fits perfectly into the new trend of expression of young and old, offering a platform for participants to film or record themselves rapping on a SoGé instrument.
Thus, between November 30, 2023 and January 3, 2024, more than 600 rap enthusiasts responded to SoGé’s call and participated in the competition on the bank’s social networks.
In first place, Ezzouhri Nizar, from Larache, won 20,000 dirhams and the studio recording of original music. Sohayb Chakir, from Errachidia, placed second and received a reward of 10,000 dirhams. Third place was awarded to Abdelaziz Fakihi, from Tinghir, who received a reward of 5,000 dirhams.
The Kain L’Flow concept was developed as part of the bank’s affinity initiatives, with the main objective of understanding the interests of young Moroccans and partnering with them, said the Communications Director of Société Générale du Maroc, Hind. Khatir.
SoGé is no longer limited to simply being an online bank, it aspires to become a lifestyle brand, attentive and committed to its community, and today, rap undoubtedly represents one of the forms of most powerful expressions of Moroccan youth, she added.
For his part, the head of the Marketing Strategies and Innovation department at Société Générale Maroc, Youssef Zerrari, declared: “we are delighted to come together as part of the SoGé competition, a competition that we initiated to promote innovation in within the bank and in society”.
“This competition brought together 600 participants from all over the Kingdom, and today, we are rewarding 3 winners who were able to seduce the jury with a rap written and performed on a SoGé instrument. The selection was difficult, because Moroccan youth is full of talent,” he said.
For his part, El Malki Mohammed, alias Masta Flow of the Inception agency, indicated that it is inspiring to see a large bank supporting Moroccan youth, noting that this competition was a wonderful opportunity to discover many talents coming from all regions of Morocco.
The three winners expressed their pride and joy at having won the competition, expressing their gratitude to SoGé for its support in promoting Moroccan rap and for its commitment to the country’s talents.
This initiative embodies SoGé’s vision to exceed traditional customer expectations. Kayn L’Flow is an example of how SoGé implements its values, by offering its customers experiences that go beyond Banking.
Beyond a simple 100% online bank, SoGé aspires to position itself as a modern and innovative lifestyle brand, which shares values such as audacity, creativity, exploration, the spirit of adventure and ambition with his community.
Since its launch in 2020, SoGé has been committed to providing its clients with services that exceed traditional standards.
