Song Joong Ki Reveals His Feelings of Being a Father
On that occasion, Song Joong Ki expressed his feelings regarding being invited to the Cannes Film Festival following a career of 15 years. He thinks a lot of good things have happened to him this year. One of them was the birth of her first child.
“A lot of good things will happen this year. I’m very happy with Cannes, but now I’m focusing on the baby to be born. I have to finish the Cannes schedule quickly and return to my wife,” said Song Joong Ki as quoted from allkpop.
Song Joong Ki also praised Katy Louise Saunders who had been active as an actress in Italy. Despite his early retirement, Song Joong Ki considers his wife more experienced because she has frequently attended the Cannes Film Festival.
As a future father, Song Joong Ki admitted that he was worried because his wife had a lot of activities during her big pregnancy. This is due to differences in Western and Korean culture regarding pregnancy.
“The West has a different culture regarding pregnancy. They are encouraged to walk, hike, and exercise. Even though the Cannes Film Festival is important, to be honest, all my focus is on it. I have to take care of it while promoting films and following,” said Song Joong Ki.
