At the beginning of January, when Noovo announced the suitors who would participate in the speed dating with the farmers of the new season of Love is in the meadowseveral women indicated that the suitor called Maxime had harassed them on several occasions.

The show’s production initially claimed that they took the allegations seriously, but that didn’t change anything about the new season. But a few days later, we learned that the 11th season would start two weeks late. The reason? We had to re-edit the first shows to completely remove the toxic candidate.

Met this week at the unveiling of the nominations for the Les Olivier gala, which she will host in March, Katherine Levac has agreed to return to the turmoil of reality TV, which she is piloting for a third time this winter.

“Everyone talks to me about it as if the pope or my children were dead! she starts first. There’s a guy who wasn’t “smatte” [gentil], we removed it from the assembly. What do you want me to tell you? I really feel the same.”

“I think more about humans”

The 33-year-old comedian adds that he especially thought of the farmer Anne-Sophie who had chosen Maxime among the three suitors to continue the adventure. “It was above all her who had a difficult month and who had a lot of comments about it.

«Love is in the meadow, it’s a TV show, she continues. But that’s the life of these people. The show ends and their real life begins. They are a couple. They make families. It’s too much real life for me not to think about that.

“While ratings, broadcaster and comparisons with FROM [Occupation Double], all that, I put it in a little box, I close the box and I never think about it again. It’s not in my life priorities to think about that. I think more about humans. But that’s me.”

Jay Du Temple

Having as a very good friend Jay Du Temple – who himself experienced a similar controversy with the last season of’Occupation Double –, Katherine Levac mentions not having really spoken about these turmoils with him.

“The reality shows that we host, on the list of subjects that we like to discuss, they come very, very far. There are a lot of other things we talk about, like our lives, our families, our parents. We are friends. What unites us is not that we host reality shows. There are like 43 topics before that.”

Katherine acknowledges that the controversy Jay faced last fall — when three toxic contestants had to be removed midway through the season — was much bigger than her own. “It was, I would say, a real turmoil. He is happy to be back. He focuses on his shows, his life, his small business. I don’t think we’re going to come back to this at every dinner!”

The tour with twins

After her animation of the Olivier, on March 19, Katherine Levac will focus on the break-in of her new solo show. “I’m going to start it this summer, I can’t wait. It’s a third show [elle a sorti Velours et Grosse avant ça]. I’m due to tour. I’m looking forward to that.”

Mother of twins who are a little over a year old, how will the comedian’s next tour go? “Surely wrong! she replies laughing. It’s organization. But at the same time, I’m so much better. I’m so much more productive and creative. I do not have a choice! Time, there is none.”
