Kate Middleton has been at the center of social debate following all the alarms went off regarding her health. At first, official information from the British Royal House was practically non-existent. Once the Princess of Wales was operated on and seeing a correct evolution, a brief statement was made in which the operation was reported and that everything had gone well, but there was no mention of a possible induced coma or that she had to having been intubated.

“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to hospital for planned abdominal surgery. The surgery was successful and she is expected to remain at The London Clinic hospital for between ten and fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery,” read the letter from the Royal Family.

Once this information became known, both British and foreign media have speculated regarding his condition and what the cause of it would be. This Sunday in “Fiesta” Concha Calleja sat down on the set to reveal the great danger that Prince William’s wife would have been in. “It has been important information, because it comes from an advisor to the Royal House, although I insist that it is an unofficial source,” began the collaborator who had already been speaking with said source regarding Kate Middleton’s condition last week.

Concha Calleja gave truth to the official information that indicated that the operation had gone as expected, but what should really worry are the complications that arose during the postoperative period. “The doctors had to make a pretty drastic decision at that time because of those complications, and her decision was to induce a coma, she had to be intubated. They were serious complications, quite serious and that they did not expect because the operation went well, but the postoperative period did not go so well,” she began by explaining.

A few moments of maximum tension between the medical team that was not able to make a firm decision to manage the induced coma. “There were serious medical moments because they had to make this decision. I cannot confirm if this continues like this, if the doctors of those 15 days that they have said are really the ones who were waiting to see that progress… The issue of the 15 days and the recovery came following the problems.”

The collaborator now delves into the official statement they issued to report that everything had gone well, but these are words that come following supposedly everything has been resolved. “When they give that statement, the entire postoperative period has already passed. This statement is made necessarily. Right now in the Royal Family behind the scenes there is a tremendous discussion regarding what statement is going to be given, the truth of what happened, what they operated on her for,” she adds.

Emma García, the presenter of the program, wanted to delve into when we will know what really happened to Kate, something that does not seem very feasible: “The truth is we are not going to know unless the recovery does not progress adequately, There they will tell us the truth because we are going to see it. Her life has been in great danger. The concern in Casa Real was palpable, it was to save lives. And I repeat, not because of the operation,” she concluded.
