The Sun and other British newspapers published an image of Catherine, Princess of Wales (née Kate Middleton) on their websites late Monday. This is her first known public appearance since Christmas.
The footage was filmed by an eyewitness last weekend when Kate visited a farm shop near Windsor Castle with her husband. writes Sun.
She is expected to return to her duties after Gregorian Easter (March 31 this year).
Such a long absence from public life gave rise to many conspiracy theories, and they were further fueled by the events surrounding the publication of her official photograph on March 10. Leading agencies soon retracted the photo after finding signs of digital manipulation in it.
The next day, Katherine apologized for the misunderstanding, explaining it with her own experiments as a novice photographer.
In the new footage, the princess looks healthy and rested, which may at least partially dispel speculation around her condition.
Prince William (who in recent months has also begun to appear in public less frequently, explaining this by the need to take care of his wife, and even canceled already announced participation in the ceremony at least once) has a public event planned for Tuesday when he will visit Sheffield to learn about the homelessness project he oversees.
Homelessness is a serious problem in Sheffield, with 4,000 people or families registering as homeless there last year, the highest since City Hall began collecting such statistics, and 500 more than the previous year.
