On the occasion of the Earthshot Prize Awards ceremony in Boston, which rewards five winners for their contribution to the fight against the climate crisis, Kate Middleton and the prince William traveled together to the East Coast of the United States. The couple’s purpose of the presence of the royal couple is to highlight the various environmental issues. True to her ultra chic and stylish wardrobe, Kate Middleton appeared in a very sober set of dark purple suit. A suit signed Alexander McQueen, who is none other than his favorite designer. Proof in support, it was he who designed her wedding dress.
Consisting of ankle-cut straight pants and a fitted blazer, the costume was accessorized with a matching turtleneck sweater, a pair of pointed-toe pumps in the same color, and earrings in sapphire.

But these are not simple dangling earrings made of diamonds and sapphires, in the shape of flowers. Indeed, these jewels belonged to Lady Diana. She had worn them on many occasions, such as during her visit to Canada in 1991, but also for the Met Gala in New York in 1996.
Nor is it the first time that Kate Middleton wears these particular earrings. The Princess of Wales was seen with it at the Trooping the Color parade in June 2022, during the Jubilee of the reine Elizabeth II.
A tribute that would have warmed the hearts of Harry and William’s mother, since she had stipulated in one of the letters of her will that her “jewels be allocated to my sons, so that their wives can, when the time comes, have or wear them,” reports the Mirror.
