The death of the former rector of the University of Guadalajara was announced on April 2 at the age of 68, at his home in the Vallarta Poniente neighborhood, reported the State Prosecutor’s Office, which specified that Raúl Padilla López took his own life .

After this shocking news, the daughter of the first actor Eric del Castillo dedicated a few words to him: “Rest in peace, dear friend. I have nothing but gratitude for having coincided with you. Thank you for your friendship, your generosity, your unconditional support and your wisdom. Thank you for your advice and the laughs, dear graduate”.

The protagonist of ‘La Reina del Sur’ wished her great friend a good trip and pointed out that all the people who knew him will always remember him from the heart.
