KASTELRUTHER SPATZEN: Sampler will be released on June 16th
As is well known, the KASTELRUTHER SPATZEN are celebrating their 40th stage anniversary this year. On this occasion, the album “40 years – stories that life writes” will be released on June 16, 2023 as a double CD with 40 songs and a double LP with 20 songs.
In the footsteps of NANA MOUSKOURI?
The attentive KASTELRUTHER SPATZEN fan knows that the seven musicians cover great hits again and again. Last year it was the song “Sometimes I wish for a heart of stone” on the album “Freundschaft aus Gold” that the folk music singer GABY ALBRECHT sang about in 1999. On the 2018 album “Older we will later” it was the 1998 FLIPPERS song “Love is more than just one night”.
According to the track list for the anniversary album, one song will be entitled “Someone always says goodbye” carry. We prophesy that this song is not unknown: NANA MOUSKOURI sang a title with this name in 2010 at the folk music summer festival presented by FLORIAN SILBEREISEN. As we reported here, the first of three new songs was released on Friday: “Aller Anfang ist Musik” is a duet with OSWALD SATTLER, who accompanied the group as a founding member for ten years.
