Specifically, in his post, Mr. Kasselakis states: “For Civil Protection and the Climate Crisis, over 550 million euros have been allocated to Greece from the Recovery Fund. How many have been absorbed? The 1%. We have the government of the 1%! 1% efficiency. In 5 years, the most lands in the history of the country have been burned”.
He then argues: “But what the government didn’t give for fire safety, it gave for propaganda” and cites videos with the complaints of government and service agents about the difficulties of extinguishing, referring to “chimney effect”, “backward fire”, “chaotic stains” ”, “fire cloud effect”, “wui fires”, “mega fire”. He concludes by asking: “Which of these excuses offends our dignity the most?”
