“Mill” prevails in the last few hours in SYRIZA, after it became known that Stefanos Kasselakis took the responsibility of the financial management of the party from Christos Mavrokephalidis, by removing the proxy.
In a move indicative of his intentions, Stefanos Kasselakis, the day after the Political Secretariat decided that he is a “dismissed” president, revoked the power of attorney with which Christos Mavrokephalidis was responsible for the financial issues of SYRIZA.
In the revocation of the power of attorney, which had been drawn up since last April, Stefanos Kasselakis revokes all the general and special orders of Christos Mavrokephalides.
“After the power of attorney was revoked by Mr. Kasselakis to Mr. Mavrokephalidis, under whose signature is the party operating today?”, Mr. Kasselakis’ entourage wonders after the above latest development.
And the same sources note: “Based on constitutional article 44, only the president can give authorization.”
It is noted that by removing the power of attorney, Mr. Kasselakis “blocks” the finances of SYRIZA, as Christos Mavrokephalidis will not be able to sign for any financial transaction, not even for the salaries of the employees.
