This decision was revealed in her Instagram Stories upload, where Kartika firmly rejected an invitation to appear on a television show. In her upload, Kartika shared a screenshot of a conversation with the TV party that invited her to be a guest star on the Rumpi Trans TV show, Friday, August 9, 2024.
Kartika casually declined the invitation. “Sorry, I’m not filming anymore hehehe,” she wrote in the message, giving the impression that she was firm with her decision.
Not only that, Kartika has also made major changes to her social media accounts. She deleted all photos showing her face and replaced her Instagram profile picture with a picture of herself wearing a niqab.
Her husband, Habib Usman bin Yahya, also gave an affirmation regarding Kartika’s decision to wear a niqab. In his statement, Habib Usman said that he had never forced his wife to wear a niqab. He expressed his gratitude for the decision taken by his wife.
Habib Usman added that Kartika’s journey of hijrah was extraordinary. Although the process was slow, Kartika finally decided to wear the niqab.
Karput also posted several ig feeds explaining the long regret he felt. In one of his posts he wrote “Astaghfirullahal’adzim, I ask forgiveness from Allah the Almighty” he also added “after realizing I was very ashamed and felt stupid .. because I will not bring all that when I return to HIM .. I will leave everything in this world .. then what do I bring when I continue to be negligent”
In his post, Karput explained that he will try to get closer to God and avoid his prohibitions. (Z-3)
