Seeing the child’s desire to remain in Yemen, Kartika Putri might only ask for prayers for protection from Allah SWT. Kartika is grateful that there are relatives who are still leaving for Tarim, Yemen.
“Every day I can only pray. Hopefully these unjust people will open their hearts. Because as we saw in Gaza, they don’t discriminate between which ones are attacked, which ones are not allowed, in the end everyone is allowed (to be attacked),” said Kartika Putri.
He hopes that his daughter will always be protected by Allah SWT. Until now, residents from outside Tarim can still come to the location.
“If it is conducive, then thank God there are many relatives who want to go to Tarim. I will continue to see the progress first. There are no (any appeals), many people in Indonesia can still go to Tarim. It’s really wide open,” explained Kartika Putri.
Kartika Putri still remembers very well when she first took Ipeh to Yemen, the airport in Aden had just been the target of a bomb.
“But I was in a condition when I took Ipeh for the first time via Aden, the airport had just been bombed a week ago. That traumatized me, the condition made us feel like our heart was going to hit our stomach,” recalled Kartika Putri.
“Well, that’s right, we can only pray. Habib also, if the situation was urgent, I would definitely be more insistent (bringing Ipeh back to Indonesia). If I don’t insist today, because the one who owns me, her father is Meridai’s guardian. That’s why, O Allah, “Yes, God will take care of you when you get to that point,” he concluded.
