A starting bid of 5.3 million euros was set for the futuristically designed residence, whose 260 square meters are spread over just three rooms.
Lagerfeld lived in the apartment for regarding a decade until his death in February 2019, according to notary Thomas Jousselin. It is located in a building on Quai Voltaire in the historic heart of Paris and offers spectacular views of the Seine and the Louvre. The main room is 120 square meters and has many bookshelves.
