If you are looking for a very large apartment in Paris with a dressing room of more than 50 square meters and a famous previous owner, you should mark March 26th in your calendar: On this day, the former apartment of the late German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will be auctioned off. A starting bid of 5.3 million euros was set for the futuristically designed residence, whose 260 square meters are spread over just three rooms.
Lagerfeld lived in the apartment for regarding a decade until his death in February 2019, according to notary Thomas Jousselin. It is located in a building on Quai Voltaire in the historic heart of Paris and offers spectacular views of the Seine and the Louvre. The main room is 120 square meters and has many bookshelves.
